Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Whispr’, including our website, app, community spaces, trusted-friend features, and safety tools. By using Whispr’, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Eligibility and community access
You may use Whispr’ only if you can form a binding agreement where you live and comply with applicable law. Whispr’ is designed as a social space for anonymous sharing, but it is not a space for illegal activity, exploitation, harassment, or attempts to evade safety protections. Where local law requires parental or guardian consent, you must obtain it before using Whispr’. You are responsible for ensuring that your access and use of the service remain lawful in your country or region.
2. Anonymous participation
Whispr’ is built to let people share secrets, worries, thoughts, and conversations without publicly attaching their real-world or online identity. You must not use the service to identify, expose, dox, stalk, threaten or pressure another person. Anonymous participation does not mean that abuse is permitted or that Whispr’ cannot act to protect people, investigate misuse, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. You should avoid posting any detail that could reveal another person’s identity without their clear permission.
3. Discord connection and account security
Whispr’ use Discord to connect or authenticate your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and for activity occurring through your connection. Do not share access credentials, impersonate another person, or attempt to access another user’s account or private information without permission. Discord use is also governed by Discord’s own terms and privacy policy. If you believe your connection has been used without permission, you should secure your Discord account and notify Whispr’ through the available online support portals.
4. Trusted friends
Whispr’ allows you to create trusted-friend connections that intentionally reduce anonymity between the people involved. You choose whether to make such a connection and what to share within it. Before sharing identity, contact details, images, or sensitive personal information, make sure you understand the other person and the effect of that choice. Whispr’ is not responsible for disclosures you voluntarily make to trusted friends or other users. You must not use a trusted-friend connection to coerce, manipulate, threaten, or obtain information from another person.
5. Your content and acceptable use
You remain responsible for content you post, message, or otherwise submit. You must not post content that is unlawful, sexually exploitative, involves minors in sexual contexts, credibly threatens harm, promotes self-harm to others, is hateful or harassing, infringes rights, contains malicious code, or attempts to obtain identifying information from others. Do not use Whispr’ to organise wrongdoing, distribute non-consensual intimate material, or manipulate another person into revealing private details. You must respect intellectual-property rights and not submit content you do not have the right to share.
6. AI safety and age-sensitive experiences
Whispr’ uses automated systems, including AI-assisted review, to identify potentially adult, sexual, harmful, or otherwise sensitive content and to help apply age-appropriate viewing controls. Users who appear to be under 18 may see only comments or content our systems flag as appropriate for younger audiences. These systems can make mistakes and are not a guarantee that every item will be correctly classified. We may review, limit, label, remove, or restrict content and accounts to protect users and meet legal or safety obligations. You must not attempt to bypass, test, or interfere with these safeguards.
7. Reporting, enforcement, and suspension
If you encounter content or conduct that may violate these Terms, please report it through the available reporting tools. We may investigate reports and take action including content removal, reduced visibility, feature limits, warnings, account suspension, or termination. We may preserve relevant information where reasonably necessary for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. We are not required to keep content available while a report is reviewed. Enforcement decisions may consider the severity, context, history, and risk of the conduct at issue.
8. Licence, service availability, and third parties
Whispr’ grants you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service in accordance with these Terms. We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. The service may rely on third-party providers, including Discord, hosting providers, and safety technology providers. We are not responsible for third-party services or for interruptions caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, interfere with, or use automated means to access the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Whispr’ is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete anonymity in every circumstance, or that all user content will be safe, accurate, or appropriate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whispr’ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, user interactions, voluntary disclosures, or reliance on content shared by others. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Whispr’, safety practices, or legal requirements. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we may provide an additional notice through the service where reasonably practicable.

11. Feedback and communications
If you send Whispr’ suggestions, ideas, comments, or feedback, you give us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you publicly without your permission. Service notices, safety notices, and changes to these Terms may be delivered through the app.
12. Governing law and severability
These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to Whispr’’s operations, except where mandatory consumer or privacy laws in your place of residence require otherwise. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
13. Intellectual property
Whispr’’s software, visual identity, service design, and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited permission to use the service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you. You may not use Whispr’’s name, logo, or materials in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without prior written permission.
14. Copyright and rights complaints
If you believe content on Whispr’ infringes your copyright, privacy, trademark, or other legal rights, contact us with enough information to identify the content, explain your concern, and verify your authority to make the request. We may remove, restrict, or preserve content while we review a complaint and may contact the relevant user where appropriate.
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Whispr’ and its team against claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights. This does not require you to indemnify Whispr’ for losses caused solely by our own misconduct.
16. Termination
You may stop using Whispr’ at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, address security risks, or prevent harm to the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including those on liability, intellectual property, disputes, and enforcement, will remain in effect.
17. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any service-specific rules we make available, form the complete agreement between you and Whispr’ regarding use of the service. They replace prior understandings about the same subject matter, except where a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.
